WORK SHARE PROGRAM

Did you know we offer
standard CSA produce shares in exchange for your hard work here at the farm? We expect quality work for the
share, so work shares are best suited to those who are familiar with plants and
growing things (although we are more than willing to point out the
difference between veggies and weeds!), have a strong back, and can tolerate
HARD WORK OUTDOORS. We will
be offering five work shares for the 2012 growing season.
Work Share Expectations:
The typical jobs will be weeding, planting, watering and harvesting.
However, you may be asked to do other things depending on the need that day.
Each work share will require 50 hours throughout the season. Work
share members start in April/May once planting begins and end in September. Hours are VERY flexible!
Scheduling hours:
Work days and hours need to be tentatively scheduled before the growing season begins.
We assign the work share once we have received a commitment from a person in
the form of this schedule. The schedules will then be posted on our online
calendar. You may reschedule your hours later, if you need to, as long as
they are completed following the schedule above.
